Increase network service quality and minimize downtime

LiveAction software provides an intelligent and uniquely visual approach to network management. For the first time ever, you can literally “see” flows, routes, and QoS policies operating in real time—across your network topology and deep inside your devices. By combining extensive device knowledge with rich network visualizations, LiveAction helps you increase the quality of your Unified Communications, Telepresence and collaborative solutions.

Benefits of LiveAction

  • Cohesive All-in-One QoS software for deploying, monitoring and managing Unified communications, Telepresence and other collaborative services
  • Faster troubleshooting and root cause analysis – use through-the-network color-coded flows, point and click filters and visual path tracing to identify network issues
  • Full network forensics using playback and reporting of any flow, from any day and any time
  • Proactive QoS and voice quality monitoring and threshold alerting
  • Fully visualize and understand existing QoS policies and make easy point and click adjustments
  • Create new policies from more than 25 built-in QoS templates and wizards based on Cisco best practices
  • Full utilization of network and device features for a greater return on existing investments and less need for extra appliances
  • Intelligent GUI increases proficiency, accuracy, and efficiency of network engineers at all levels of experience
  • Easy 20-minute installation and set up on a standard PC—no appliances or extra software required

What makes LiveAction different?

ActionPacked! Networks realized that even CCIE level engineers would never be able to exploit the full potential of their networks and devices. After years of painstaking research of the commands, features, and even behavioral idiosyncacies of Cisco devices, ActionPacked! engineers developed LiveAction software as a solution to turn this problem completely inside out. As a result, these complicated network devices have been transformed into user-friendly, enabling technologies for making networks run more efficiently.

Additional Benefits

Get your IT staff up to speed in record time

It takes considerable certification training and hands on work to build a quality IT department. With LiveAction, network engineers can quickly visualize network performance, traffic flows, routes, and QoS policies regardless of their experience level.

Adjustments to existing QoS policies are made quickly and confidently and more experienced engineers can take advantage of full graphical editing of advanced QoS settings to fine tune network performance. This increases the capabilities of less experienced staff while allowing highly experienced engineers to make better use of their valuable time and expertise.

All-in-One, Integrated Software Architecture

LiveAction is a multi-dimensional software system that allows you to seamlessly navigate views overlaid on a consistent pan and zoom topology.

  • Instantly validate QoS policy or route changes with real-time QoS graphs and traffic flow views.
  • Quickly drill-down from system level views to individual router and interface views.
  • Set up traffic viewing filters based on flow parameters by a simple right-click of a flow, or right click on the same flow to add its properties as an ACL entry.
  • Perform and visualize route path analysis on the same topology that visually displays active routes by protocol.

With LiveAction you learn a single GUI that puts the power of multiple technologies are your fingertips to more efficiently and effectively manage your network.

Historical Analysis and Reporting for Flows and QoS Performance

In addition to providing real-time views, LiveAction also captures NetFlow, s-flow, J-Flow and QoS performance data on a daily basis so you can visually recreate detailed network conditions from the past for any date and time you specify.

Historical information can be captured as frequently as every 10 seconds to provide essential information for forensics, troubleshooting and spotting trends in network activity and performance. Navigate information in interactive views, or choose from over 30 built-in web reports that provide quick access to neatly formatted information.
